Who we are

Aliyiinza Caring Organization was born from a single, heartfelt moment that forever changed our lives.

While driving through a neighborhood of Matugga in Uganda with my two young daughters, we came across three children walking to school barefoot, their uniforms torn and worn from hardship. Moved by the sight, my daughters turned to me and asked, “Is there something we can do to help them get shoes and uniforms that aren’t torn?”

Who we are

Aliyiinza Caring Organization was born from a single, heartfelt moment that forever changed our lives.

While driving through a neighborhood of kyagwe in Uganda with my two young daughters, we came across three children walking to school barefoot, their uniforms torn and worn from hardship. Moved by the sight, my daughters turned to me and asked,“Is there something we can do to help them get shoes and uniforms that aren’t torn?”

That innocent question planted the seed for what would become Aliyiinza Caring Organization.  Inspired by compassion and a deep commitment to community, Aliyiinza was birthed with a mission to restore dignity, hope, and opportunity for children in underserved communities of Uganda. Through the provision of school shoes, uniforms, and basic learning materials, we aim to ensure that every child has a fair chance to succeed in school and in life.

What began as a small gesture of empathy has grown into a community driven movement anchored in love, guided by family values, and fueled by the belief that every child deserves the tools and support to learn, dream, and thrive. With every pair of shoes and every uniform we give, we are not just meeting a need, we are affirming the worth and potential of every child we serve.
